Yemen participated in the 114th session of Arab Economic and Social Council at the ministerial level in the Arab League's headquarters in Cairo today.
Yemen's delegation was led by the country's Minister of Industry and Trade Mohammed al-Ashwal.
The meeting approved a number of important decisions that support the path of joint Arab action, including an economic and social dossier planned to be presented to the Arab League's Council next year, the Greater Arab Free Trade Area, developments in the Customs Union, the strategy for agricultural development and Arab food security, support for the Palestinian economy, the establishment of the Arab Housing and Reconstruction Bank, the Arab Reading Challenge Initiative, and list goes on.
