Leadership Council chairman praises Kuwait's humanitarian role in Yemen

Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council Dr. Rashad al-Alimi received a delegation from Kuwaiti Elaph Charitable Association including the organization's director Dr. Saud Ali Al-Hajri here today who are currently visiting Yemen to identify and set priorities of humanitarian interventions in the fields of health, education, agricultural and development.

The Kuwaiti humanitarian team acquainted al-Alimi with the outcomes of their field visits to several Yemen governorates, the facilities they need carry out their humanitarian interventions and, ahead of all, opening permanent office in Aden.

President al-Alimi welcomed the delegation and promised to facilitate their mission while expressing gratitude to the Kuwaiti governmental and non-governmental organizations in rehabilitating services in Yemen and alleviating the human suffering and offering support for the aspirations of the Yemeni people and political leadership in various circumstances.
