Member of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) Abdul-Rahman al Mahrami emphasized the importance of stepping –up the efforts to improve social services to help the needy fellow citizens in need.

As he convened chaired a meeting today, Tuesday, with the headship of Social Affairs Ministry in the transitional capital Aden, he stressed that it is very important to establish active coordination between the Ministry and the civil society organizations and the concerned parties in order to ensure the delivery of the social assistance to the needy people.

The discussions focused on the Ministry's role in aiding the most vulnerable groups such as the penurious families, orphans and the people with special needs.

The challenges facing the Ministry's plans and actions were also touched upon.
