ADEN-SABA
Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism Muamar al-Eryani has said the world turned its back to government's calls and warnings against Iranian interferences destabilizing Yemen and the region during the years of Houthi militia's coup against the state and Yemeni people and regional countries paid huge price for these interferences.
The world finds itself today " in a direct confrontation with Iranian terrorism and its Houthi hands face to face in the Red Sea, Bab al-Mandab Strait and the Gulf of Aden," said al-Eryani in press statement on Monday.
" The government confirmed repeatedly in different incidents … since 2014 there have been advisors, experts and fighters from Iranian Revolutionary Guard and Lebanese Hezbollah in the areas under Houthi terrorist militia control by force to manage operation rooms, making military plans, providing intelligence and logistic support and remanufacturing ballistic rockets and drones smuggled from Iran," he said.
He pointed out to the report published by Reuters, citing Iranian sources, which confirmed that Iranian leaders travelled to Yemen and established a command center in the Capital Sana'a on the Red Sea, run by a senior commander in the Revolutionary Guard.
It also revealed that a group of Houthi fighters had been in Iran and got training at a Revolutionary Guard base, central Iran, on new technology and missiles usage, in addition to recognition of a Houthi Militia leader the so-called Mohammed Abdulsalam that the militia benefits from Iranian expertise in terms of the military industry and maritime and air infrastructure.
Al-Eryani demanded the international community, the United Nations and Security Council to take serious action to put an end to the organized terrorism by Teheran Regime and its hands in the region and to swiftly commence labeling Houthi militia a terrorist organization.
