The Kuwaiti Fund for Arab Economic Development signed Thursday a Grant Agreement with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) worth $1.2 million to contribute to the rehabilitation and maintenance of homes for displaced persons in Yemen.

'MASAM' removes 730 Houthis-laid landmines in a week

KSrelief Center's Demining Project in Yemen "MASAM" announced that it its technical teams pulled out 730 of landmines, unexploded ordnances (UXO) and explosives devices in the third week of this October from different Yemeni regions.
The Center reported 13 anti-personnel and 109 anti-tanks landmines and 608 UXO were removed to bring total number of the landmines removed in October up to 2206.
It is worth to mentioned that MASAM removed 419 thousand and 309 landmines since it has started its demining mission in 2018, all planted randomly by Iran-backed Houthi militiamen all over the Yemeni regions.
