Minister of Information Muammar Al-Eryani, has expressed surprise over the international community's continued silence over the Houthi crimes of recruiting hundreds of thousands of children to radicalization camps in areas under the terrorist militia's control.

In a statement to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), Eryani said that the international community turns a blind eye to the horrific crimes and violations committed by the Houthi militia against children in Yemen, and turns a blind eye to the imminent danger resulting from Houthis forcefeeding terrorist ideology to an entire generation of children.

He said that the Houthi militia speaks clearly about its criminal plans, and boasts through its media that it lures and recruits children in its areas of control through what it calls "summer centers", and markets them as cannon fodder for its pointless war.

Eryani warned of the terrorist Houthi militia crushing the innocence of an entire generation of children in the areas under its control, depriving them of their right to live normally, poisoning their minds with extremist ideas imported from Iran, and turning them into a time bomb that represents a serious threat to regional and international peace and security.

He renewed the call on the international community, the United Nations, and human rights and child protection organizations and bodies to carry out their legal, humanitarian and moral responsibilities in addressing these heinous crimes, and to prosecute those responsible for them from the leaders and elements of the militia, and to ensure that they do not go unpunished.
