Minister of Defense, Lieutenant General Mohsen Muhammad Al-Daari, signed a memorandum of understanding with his Sudanese counterpart Lieutenant General Yassin Ibrahim in Khartoom today within the framework of strengthening and developing joint cooperation between the two countries in the areas of training and qualifying leaders, and encouraging visits between delegations at all levels.

The MoU aims to provide the necessary support related to peace operations, crisis management, counter-terrorism operations and maritime piracy, in addition to exchanging experiences in sending missions between the two countries.

The Minister of Defense Al-Daari praised the eternal relationship and the joint cooperation that was certified with blood sacrifices between the two brotherly countries. He touched on the program of tours, which included many academic and industrial military institutions.

He praised the stability and progress that Sudan is witnessing, especially in the military aspect.

For his part, the Sudanese Minister of Defense renewed his country's support for the government in Yemen, pointing out that the signing of this memorandum is the biggest evidence of Sudan's keenness, support and backing for Yemen until it returns to its happy times.
