The Minister of Interior, Major General Ibrahim Haydan, discussed today, in the interim capital, Aden, with the United Nations Resident Coordinator for Humanitarian Affairs in Yemen joint efforts to achieve integration and cooperation between the security services and international organizations, secure United Nations missions and staff working in Yemen and facilitate their movements, especially after Incidents that clearly reflect the servitude between terrorist groups and the Houthi militia.

The meeting discussed efforts to support the Yemeni authorities in confronting and bearing the burdens of waves of internal displacement and migration, especially from the Horn of Africa, and the extent of their impact on the general conditions and the host society, in addition to interest in the file of voluntary return of African migrants to their countries, and the international roles in this regard, and other humanitarian, relief and development roles.

. The UN official affirmed the continued efforts of the United Nations organizations to assist the displaced and migrants from the Horn of Africa, appreciating the role of the Ministry of Interior in providing facilities for the international teams to carry out their humanitarian tasks and secure their movements.
