The Yemeni government has confirmed that all options are put on the table to handle the Houthi terrorist attack which targeted al-Dubba oil terminal port in the governorate of Hadramout and its military escalation. The government has called on countries to take stern and strong measures to condemn this terrorist operation and the Iranian rogue regime which stands behind it.

The government has warned in a statement it issued that in case that no firm and strong action is taken to denounce the terrorist attack and avert recurrence this terrorist behavior and action it will have negative impacts upon the peace process in Yemen and the world's market energy stability and supplies.

The government has made it clear that these Houthis terrorist attacks clearly have shown the militia's insistence on launching a more criminal and vicious phase of the war that will further worsening the humanitarian crisis, disturbing the security of international maritime navigation, disclose the true position of these terrorist militias toward the international community's efforts to re-establish peace at whatever cost, it also obviously demonstrate the wrongness and danger of ignoring the terrorist nature of the Houthi militia.

Here is the government statement text:" The Houthi militias carried out today, Friday, 21 October 2022 a terrorist attack by drones and missiles targeting al-Dubba oil harbor in Hadramout governorate. This terrorist and cowardice attack is the second one of its kind to be committed by the Houthi militias as it happened earlier that it had targeted the Raddom oil port in Shabaw governorate with drones attack on 18 and 19 nights of October 2022. By doing so these militias are clearly insisting on targeting the civil and commercial facilities, in flagrant violation of the International Law and targeting the economic infrastructure of the Yemeni people and its resources. This terrorist attack and the preceded ones is considered to be blatant threat to the energy supplies at the regional and international level.

Meanwhile the Yemeni government has been very keen to offer all necessary concessions and facilitations to renew the UN-brokered truce and to maintain the status quo far from any military escalation, the Houthi militias have gone far beyond all redlines after they had threatened the neighboring countries and all oil companies which operate in the region of all nationalities of targeting their facilities, infrastructure and transports vessels, and today, they turned their intimidations into actions on the ground by launching their terrorist cowardice attack to prove the terrorist nature of this group, rejecting all proposals and initiatives aimed to make peace, in order to serve the rogue Iranian regime in the region, putting its interests above the Yemeni peoples' welfare, in blatantly aggression and threat to the international peace and security.

These terrorist attacks on Friday afternoon of the 21st of October 2022 by Houthi militias are not only demonstrate clearly that the terrorist militias are insisting on launching a more fierce phase of the war, furthering exacerbating the humanitarian crisis, but also these terrorist attacks revealing the genuine stance of these militias about the International community's desire to establish peace no matter the cost may be needed, the attacks also clearly show the mistake and danger of overlooking the terrorist nature of the Houthi militias.

The Yemeni government while it condemns this terrorist attack, it confirms that all options can be used to respond to this Houthi terrorist operation and military escalation. At the same time the government calls on the International community to bear its responsibility toward such terrorist actions, demanding all countries to strongly condemn this terrorist operation and the Iranian regime which is standing behind.

The government warned that unless strong and decisive action is taken to denounce the terrorist attacks, fend off the repletion of this terrorist behavior and action, it will have extremely negative repercussions upon the peace process in Yemen and the world's energy supplies and stability.
