Foreign Minister, Dr. Ahmed Awad bin Mubarak, discussed with his Kuwaiti counterpart, Dr. Ahmed Nasser Al-Sabah, the latest political, military and humanitarian situation in our country, in light of the truce sponsored by the United Nations, and what it represents as an opportunity to achieve a comprehensive and just peace.

During the meeting held on the sidelines of the meeting of the Global Coalition to Defeat ISIS in the Moroccan city of Marrakesh, Minister bin Mubarak valued the sincere Kuwaiti positions in support of the Yemeni government in various fields, praising the development and prosperity of the bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries.

He affirmed the Yemeni government's serious endeavor to end the war and achieve peace that guarantees a decent life and equal citizenship for all the Yemeni people. He reviewed in this regard the solutions and initiatives provided by the government to make the United Nations' endeavors successful, whether with regard to stopping military operations despite repeated Houthi violations, or those related to opening Sana'a International Airport and lifting the siege on the city of Taiz.
