Prime Minister Dr. Maeen Abdul-Malik chaired a meeting of the leadership of the Ministry of Interior, to discuss the situation and plans of the ministry to enhance stability, raise the efficiency of the security services, raise their readiness to confront terrorist plans, thwart Houthi subversive plans, and enhance security and stability in Aden and the liberated governorates.
In a meeting in the temporary capital Aden today, the Prime Minister stressed the great national tasks undertaken by the ministry and the importance of making more efforts to enhance security, stability and general tranquility for the society.
He stressed that the government's success in performing its duties and obligations towards providing basic services to citizens is basically linked to achieving security and stability, which is the task that falls on the shoulders of the Ministry of Interior, its agencies and all its employees, and all citizens and the government stand behind them with support, considering security as a collective responsibility.
Dr. Abdul-Malik directed the Ministry to take all necessary measures to facilitate the services provided by its affiliated departments and bodies to citizens.
The Prime Minister was briefed by the Minister of Interior on the conditions of the Ministry and its affiliates and the plans being implemented to raise and strengthen the capacities of the ministry and its affiliated agencies.
