The Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism Muammar Al-Eryani said, "The videotaped scenes presented by the Arab Coalition documenting the Iranian-backed Houthi militia setting up platforms and launching ballistic missiles from the middle of residential neighborhoods in the areas under its control, is a new confirmation of the militia's use of civilian objects and civilians as human shields."

He said that since the start of the war hundreds of accidents have been recorded as the Houthi terrorist militia tried to launch misiles from the middle of residential neighborhoods with the missiles landing over the heads of civilians in the areas under its control, and dozens of weapons and ammunition stored in homes, schools and mosques caused explosions that led to human and material losses.

Al-Eryani called on the international community to condemn these practices as a violation of international law that criminalizes the establishment of military objectives within densely populated areas and the use of civilians as human shields in accordance with the 1929 and 1949 Geneva Conventions, the Additional Protocol 1977 and the Treaty of Rome 1998.
