Yemen participated today in the meetings of the Executive Office of the Arab Ministers of Social Affairs, held in Jordan, with a delegation headed by the Minister of Social Affairs and Labor, Dr. Muhammad Al-Zauri.

In his speech, the Minister touched on the difficult economic conditions Yemen is facing, which have put the country in the worst humanitarian crisis ever due to the war launched by the Houthi coup militia against the Yemeni people.

Al-Zauri said, "The Houthi militia has not complied with international resolutions, the efforts of the United Nations and the efforts of brothers and friends to stop the war and bring peace to Yemen, and it has gone too far to commit more crimes and violations against the people, and they are still killing and abusing children, the elderly and women in the governorates of Hodeidah, Al Dhale'e, Lahj, Marib and Abyan." and Shabwa.

He pointed to the difficult living situation that Yemenis suffer from as a result of the Houthi war, and that more than 24 million people, or 80 percent of the population, now need urgent humanitarian assistance.
