Houthis attempt to cover up on their links with other terror organizations, says Eryani

RIYADH-SABA
Yemen's Information Minister said the Houthi militia's intensive propaganda that they are countering Al-Qaeda in the central Yemeni governorate of Al Beidha is an attempt to cover up on the militia's links with other terror organizations.
In a statement to Saba, Muammar al-Eryani said, "These fabrications are a desperate attempt to cover up on their collusion and coordination in the field with Al-Qaeda and ISIS organizations under the patronage of Iran."
Al-Eryani said the Houthis "seek to label every oppositionist to them as being an affiliate to Al-Qaeda and ISIS. In fact they have established a deep relations hip with these terrorist organizations. The relationship between them is characterized by cooperation and collusion in various fields."
He cited the militia's release of 252 Al-Qaeda elements from the intelligence jails, helped them fortify their positions and started coordinating military operations with them against the army.
He said that since the Houthi coup in September 2014, they have entered into tacit agreement with Al-Qaeda whereby the latter withdraw from areas of control and hand them over to the Houthis to use them to make maneuvers against the army.
He said they are "take turns in their criminal coordination to endanger the security of Yemen, its Arab neighbors and the international shipping lanes as inspired from their mutual link to the Iranian regime."
