Assistant Deputy Governor of Hadhramout for the districts for the Valley and the Desert Affairs Abdulhadi al-Tamimi and Director of the UN Office here discussed interventions of the office in Hadhramout Pivot and future plans for providing services to local societies.
Al-Tamimi and directors of offices of the ministries of planning and social affairs were briefed by the UN official on the office's activities of distributing food parcels and developmental activities.
Al-Tamimi praised efforts of the office for providing services to local societies.
The UN official pointed out that the project of cash for labor helps locals for survivor and limits dangers threatening targeting areas over natural catastrophes.
For their parts, the directors of the two ministries' offices pointed out to abilities of many civil society organizations on providing humanitarian services in accordance with the applied international measures in this domain.
They also pointed out that there are more than 40,000 displaced people in Hadhramout need humanitarian assistances.
