The armed forces, with backing from the Arab Coalition, secured on Wednesday new advances into Houthi-held territories in Aljawf, the north Yemen desert province.

The army’s advance in Aljadafer and Adwan, east of the provincial capital, al-Hazm, followed a repulsion pf a Houthi attack in which the militants were forced to flee and an armored vehicle belonging to them was destroyed.

Meanwhile, Coalition airstrikes hit Houthi military reinforcements and arms cache south of Marib.
