Eight Yemeni political parties and constituencies announced their support for Cairo Declaration dated June 6,2020 which emphasized on the political solution to the Libyan crisis, called for a cease-fire and stressed the importance of Libya's unity, security, stability, sovereignty and territorial integrity.

In a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) the political parties confirmed their full support for the Arab Republic of Egypt's right to defend itself against potential threats.

The political parties included the People General Congress, the Yemeni Socialist Party, the Nassirate Unionist Party, the Union of Popular Forces, the National Arab Ba'ath Socialist Party, the People Democratic Party, the Arab Ba'ath Socialist Party, the Party of Liberation Front.
