President of the Republic Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi held a high-profile meeting on Thursday with the Vice President (Lt Gen) Ali Mohsen Saleh, Speaker of Parliament Sultan al-Barakani and Prime Minister Dr. Ma'een Abdulmalik.

The session devoted to discuss a wide-range of topics relating to political, economic, security and military developments in the Yemeni national landscape.

The peace prospects and the implementation of Riyadh Agreement were also discussed.

The President applauded the great sacrifices have been extended by the brave personnel of the armed forces to counter the Iran-allied Houthi militia's forces.

He stressed the importance of joining efforts and resources to defend the national interests of the country.

Hadi said" There are several challenges the country has been facing in the military, security , economic and developmental fields".

President Hadi highly praised the supportive stances and generous support of the Saudi-led Arab Coalition for Yemen.

The Vice President presented a breif report about the ongoing combat operations in different battlefields and flashpoints in Marib, Aljawf and elsewhere.

The Prime Minister reported about the government's efforts to re-normalize the situations and reinstate the basic services in the interim capital Aden and government-held regions.

The Director of the Republic Presidency Office Dr. Abdullah al-Alimi was in attendance.
