Hadi appreciates efforts of UN envoy aimed at bringing peace

RIYADH - SABA
President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi valued the efforts of the UN Special Envoy to Yemen Martin Griffiths aimed at bringing peace and achieving the security and stability that our Yemeni people aspire for.

In a reception of Griffiths here today, in the presence of Vice President Ali Mohsen Saleh, Hadi emphasized the government's commitment to cooperating with the UN envoy in implementing the provisions of the Hodeidah Agreement despite the repeated foot-dragging tactics of the Houthi coup militia.

He stressed the importance of working together to restore security and stability to Yemen and preserve the country's territorial integrity, security and stability. He noted the importance of support by the Saudi-led Arab Coalition countries to reinforce those efforts.

The UN envoy briefed the President on his vision and the next steps to achieve peace through the implementation of the Hodeidah Agreement steps as the beginning of confidence-building measures to enhance the desired peaceful path . He praised the efforts and skills of President Hadi in steering Yemen in these critical circumstances.
