Minister of Local Administration, the Head of the Supreme Relief Committee Abdulraqeeb Fatah discussed on Monday with Head of the European Union Delegation to Yemen Antonia Calvo-Puerta supporting local development projects across Yemen and training 1400 cadre of local authority.
Fatah confirmed that the Yemeni people is in need of basic services and projects improving their living conditions like financing health and education projects, as well as mid-size and small projects.
He confirmed that the government is so keen on implementing local development and service projects to help Yemeni people, pointing out that the government will provide different forms of facilitations to donors and international organizations while implementing such projects.
He confirmed that these projects will be implemented in all Yemeni provinces as the government is responsible on Yemeni people across Yemen. He valued efforts of the European Union for helping Yemeni people.
For her part, the European official welcomed cooperation and partnership in implementing these projects, confirming significance of proposals to be made to the EU so as they will define priorities for supporting such projects across Yemen.
