The Saudi project "MASAM" removed 1229 Houthi-laid landmines in the fourth week of March in different parts of Yemen.
MASAM is part of a $40 million initiative by King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief).
In a statement, MASAM said it extracted 28 anti-personnel and 738 anti-tank landmines planted by the rebel militia in properties, schools and houses in several provinces.
MASAM said it removed 6,647 total number of landmines last March and 52777 landmines since it started its mission of mine clearance in May 2018.
