Prime Minister Ma'een Abdulmalik inspected on Thursday al-Masila District hit by floods of the tropical storm Luban and damaged a number of houses.

He inspected Rahdid area; the most damaged area, and toured some villages and farms swept by the floods. He also visited a number of schools, which have been used as shelters for displaced people whose homes were damaged.

The prime minister was briefed by local authority's officials and Governor of Mahra Rjeh ba-Kerait on the size of damages left by the floods and efforts of the local authority and military and security forces for avoiding the greatest damage.

He confirmed that the government will continue its efforts for reconstructing what have been damaged by the storm, confirming that his visit to Mahra came for inspecting the seize of damages left by Luban storm and working quickly on having solutions including reconstruction and providing relief materials.

He praised efforts of the local authority and the First Military Zone, which intervened by helicopters for rescuing the trapped people on the roof of their houses.

He also valued efforts of the joint forces of the Saudi-led Coalition.
