Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs Dr. Mansour Bajash met with the head of the International Relations Department of the Communist Party of CubaJose RamónBalaguer in Havana on Wednesday.

Bajjash recounted to Balaguer the train of events starting from the peaceful youth uprising against the former regime, President Abd-Rabbu MansourHadi's effort to lead a peaceful transition period, the National Dialogue Conference in 2013-14, the Houthi militia'ssabotage of the Dialogue and transitional process and their mounting of a coup and armed expansions from the capital Sana'a to other parts of Yemen.

Citing the crimes of the militia he said that in the course of their coup and insurgency they committed acts of killing, starving, arresting, abducting, disappearing and torturing people; blowing up and destroying houses, schools and mosques; recruiting and enlisting children on the front lines; seizing state resources and cash reserves at the central bank;withholdingsalaries of public employees, and systematically ripping apart the social fabric.

He also thanked the Cuban government for voting at the end of last Septemberagainst the Dutch draft resolution brought forth to the Human Rights Council to extend the mission of biased international investigators into human rights groups.
