Speaker of Arab Parliament Dr Masha'l Asslami put forward two drafts bill designed to rebut the UN High Commissionaire's report about Yemen. The drafts worded Tuesday by the Committee of Legislative, Legal and Human Rights Affairs of Arab Parliament.

The two drafts will be submitted to the general session of Arab Parliament scheduled for tomorrow Wednesday to be approved.

In a press statement Dr Asslami said the first draft bill about" rejecting the report by the UN High Commissionaire for Human Rights issued on August 28, 2018, and its content which included stances, conclusions, recommendations by the Team of Experts about human rights situations in the Republic of Yemen over the period September 2014 to June 2018".

Asslami noted that the second draft bill about" Appreciating "Masm" Project for de-mining in Yemen which launched by KSrelief Center and demanding the UN to make Yemen a free-mines country".

Asslami said" The draft bill includes several articles expressively voicing Arab Parliament's position that disapproves the report's content which is lacking accuracy and objectivity as it overlooked documented violations systematically committed by Iran-back Houthi militia and its backers in Yemen…. The report also ignored Houthi militia's using the seaport under its control to smuggle weapons and ballistic missiles to attack the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its people, firing more than (170) ballistic missiles against the Kingdom's cities including Mecca and Riaydh ".
