Minister of Human Rights Dr Mohammed Asker debated the findings of the report by the UN Panel of Experts about human rights in Yemen. Discussions held Monday in Geneva. Ambassadors of Arab Mini-Group and a number of delegations of the member states of the UN Human Rights Council contributed to the debates.
Asker disputed the report's conclusions, describing it as biased.
The Minister also confirmed that there is no real reason to extend the tenure of the current group. He demanded support for the National Investigation Committee as a national body to investigate into human rights violations and deliver justice.
