President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi has directed a call to all leaders and members of the General People Congress (GPC) for integration, discarding differences and uniting forces for facing Houthi rebel militia and restoring the Republican Regime and the state's institutions.

In his meeting with the GPC leaders existing here, the president discussed with them situations of the party, boosting its activities and status as leading political party.

"The Congress has never been … exclusionary, ethnic or regionalist a matter enabling it to gain wide popular base across the country, which can lose it if it abandons and deviates away of those characteristics, habits and plans built on," said President.

He added; what we need today is avoidance of past differences, abandoning selfishness, leaving narrow loyalties and bringing victory to the homeland, its revolution, unity and outcomes of its dialogue and bringing victory to ourselves and our leading party.

The president talked about split the GPC witnessed recently and warned against it and reminded the attendants on challenges and crises the homeland goes through over Houthi coup.
