Arab Parliament reiterates its rejection and condemnation of child recruiting by Houthi putschist militia in Yemen that has embarked on engaging children in field battles and making them human shields.

Assalmi's statement came in written letters transmitted to the UN Secretary General, President of the International Security Council, Speaker of International Parliamentary Union (IPU), UN High Commissionaire for Human Rights, Head of UN Human Rights Council, Executive Director of the UNICEF, Speakers of Regional Parliaments" European Parliament, Parliament of Overall Africa, Latin America's Parliament, General Association of NATO's Parliament, Mediterranean Parliamentary Association".

Assalmi called on the UN to take immediate and firm steps about Houthi militia's forcefully recruiting children in Yemen and engaging them in the field battles and using them as human shields to fight its absurd warfare it has waged against the legitimate authority in Yemen.

The Speaker of Arab Parliament asked the UN Secretary General and President of the International Security Council to refer Houthi militia's crimes about child recruitment in Yemen to the International Criminal Court (ICC) and to hunt down Houthi militia's leaders in order to be held accountable for their crimes against the Yemeni children.
