Chairman of the Consultation and Reconciliation Authority Mohammad al-Ameri and his deputies Dr. Mohammad al-Mikhlafi, Sakhr al-Wageeh, Jamilah Raja'a and Akram Al-Ameri met Wednesday with Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates for Yemen Mohammad al-Za'abi.
During the meeting, the Chairman of the Authority reviewed the work nature of the authority and its tasks in accordance with the declaration of power transfer, as well as its efforts in bringing Yemeni political forces – supporting legality- closer. Its tasks also include supporting the Presidential Leadership Council and protecting its force and integrity until reaching just and inclusive peace in Yemen.
The authority discussed with the UAE ambassador latest political and economic developments in Yemen, stressing significance of integrating and doubling efforts to support the Presidential Leadership Council, supporting national economy and enforcing military forces in warfronts under the stubbornness of Houthi militia and its rejection to peace efforts.
The reconciliation authority focused on the important and positive role of the UAE in the Yemeni file and praised support from brothers in the UAE to Yemeni people in different domains, especially humanitarian and developmental ones.
For his part, the UAE ambassador confirmed his country's support to the Presidential Leadership Council to regain state and for creating real peace and stability.
He also confirmed their support to national conciliation resulted in the declaration of power transfer and the Consultation and Reconciliation Authority.
He pointed out to integrating efforts to solve all national issues and suspended files in the framework of inclusive political process.
