The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced the evacuation of a second batch of Yemeni nationals in Sudan, as the passenger ship (Amana) set off from the port of Port Sudan to Jeddah, as part of the continuous evacuation operations initiated by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to evacuate the nationals of Arab and foreign countries from Sudan.
In a statement of which the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) received a copy, the ministry said that work and coordination is continuing to complete the evacuation process in the near future, noting that land trips were conducted to transport the first batch of arrivals, from Jeddah to each of the governorates of Aden and Marib, as per the government's directives in this regard.
The Ministry reiterated its appreciation for the generous efforts and facilities being made by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to evacuate the Yemenis and the hosting and care it provides to them during their stay in Jeddah before their return to the country.
