King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center's project of "Masam" to clear Yemeni lands of landmines removed during the first week of March 880 mines planted by the terrorist Houthi militia in various regions of Yemen, including 3 anti-personnel mines, 198 anti-tank mines, and 677 unexploded ordnance and two innovative explosive devices.
According to the official Saudi agency, SPA, Masam's team was able to remove two unexploded ordnance in Aden governorate, and one anti-personnel mine in the Qataba district in Al-Dhalea governorate, and in the Hays district in Al-Hodeidah governorate, 8 anti-tank mines and 16 unexploded ordnance were removed.
In Marib Governorate, the "Masam" team was able to clear 100 anti-tank mines and 200 unexploded ordnance in the Harib district, and one anti-personnel mine, 9 anti-tank mines and one unexploded ordnance in Marib district, and in Shabwa governorate, the team removed one unexploded ordnance In the Ain district, and one anti-personnel mine in the Bayhan district, and 62 anti-tank mines, 5 unexploded ordnance and one innovative explosive device in the Asilan district.
In Taiz governorate, the team was also able to clear one unexploded ordnance in Al-Waziya district, 5 anti-tank mines, 113 unexploded ordnance in Al-Mokha district, 11 anti-tank mines, 11 unexploded ordnance and one innovative explosive device in Maqbana district.
