Al-Rayyan International Airport resumed its activity in the field of foreign flights by organizing flights from Al-Rayyan Airport to the city of Jeddah in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The first flights of Yemen Airways arrived from Jeddah with about 100 passengers on board and will depart again to Jeddah with about 103 passengers on board.
An official source in the Ministry of Transport stated, in a statement to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), that the resumption of all previous flights to and from Al-Rayyan International Airport comes within the framework of the efforts made by the leadership of the Ministry in cooperation and coordination with the leadership of the local authority in Hadramout Governorate, within the framework of interest in Al-Rayyan Airport and contribution in restoring its pioneering role in what would alleviate the suffering of citizens, pointing out that arrangements are being made now to resume the Al-Rayyan-Cairo and Al-Rayyan-Dubai flights.
