Deputy Minister of Planning and International Cooperation, Dr. Nizar Basohayb discussed preparations for the implementation of the Food Security and Livelihoods Survey (FSLA), which will be implemented by the Food Program and United Nations organizations with the participation and supervision of the Ministry of Planning and the relevant government agencies, during the period from October to November of the current year 2022 AD.
The meeting held today in the temporary capital Aden touched on the readiness of the committees and the technical teams that will participate in the implementation of the survey, and the plans and efforts for collecting field data necessary for the survey, the results of which will include a basis for supporting the Integrated Phase Classification of Food Security (IPC) report and the Yemen Humanitarian Response Plan (YHRP) for the next year 2023, In addition to being guided by the results of the survey in the country strategic programs, and taking the appropriate decisions in the World Food Program of the United Nations.
