Minister of Public Health and Population Qasem Buhaibeh discussed Wednesday with Resident Representative of World Health Organization to Yemen Adham Rashad means of boosting mutual cooperation in health field.
Buaibeh praised active role of WHO as real partner supporting health sector in Yemen, expressing aspirations for exerting double efforts for boosting coordination between the ministry and the organization and implementing Oxygen Stations Project in provinces of most need.
The two parties also discussed issues associated with improving isolation centers for COVID-19 and possibility of improving them and contribution to activate vaccination campaigns.
The minister was briefed by WHO's official on the organization's activities and interventions to support health sector.
