Yemen's Prime Minister Maeen Abdulmalik has asserted that the Houthi theocratic militia are not interested in peace and are pushing ahead with military escalation and massacres against civilians.
In a meeting with the visiting UN Special Envoy Hans Grundberg, the prime minister made mention of the continuous Houthi ballistic missile attacks on Marib and the horrific massacring of dozens of civilians by three missiles launched onto a neighborhood in the city this week.
The prime minister stressed that the road to peace in Yemen is obvious: through the adherence to the three agreed upon reference points regarding any peace process. The prime minister noted that the reference points guarantee a lasting peace that does not pave the way or leave a room for future rounds of conflict, besides being a respect of the Yemeni people's will and the binding international resolutions.
