MARIB - SABA
The army has killed more than 350 Houthis as it repelled attacks by the theocratic militants in the government-held province of Marib in Yemen’s east, sources said.
A military source told the armed forces’ Media Center that “the battles the heroes of the army fought in the past 30 hours in Serwah, Al-Kassarah, Almashjah and other fronts west of Marib “left 350 militants dead, and dozens others injured or arrested.”
The Arab Coalition aided the army with some airstrikes, which contributed to the militia’s losses including in military equipment.
The militia have been waging more than two weeks of what looks like a suicide mission to try to secure incursions in the government-held territories in Aljawf and Marib provinces, sacrificing huge number of brainwashed fighters.
