The local government of Shabwa has licensed the first industrial projects to be set up in the eastern province. Factories of fiberglass and light medical tools & cosmetics, in addition to a gas station will be set up in the province’s assigned First Industrial Zone as three separate investments. The three of them will cost YR 600 million.

A safe haven for IDPs and investors, Shabwa is seeing the increasing inauguration of startups and major public infrastructure and mixed tourist projects.
