The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Shaya Zindani today, Sunday received a copy of the credentials of Raymond R. Palatbat as the Non-Resident Ambassador of the Friendly Republic of the Philippines to the Republic of Yemen.
Dr. Zindani welcomed the Filipino Ambassador, wishing him all the best in his diplomatic mission, promising him every necessary support to enable him doing his job successfully to further strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries, which established on May 4, 1977.
Zindani highly praised the Philippines' supportive stances in support of the internationally recognized Yemeni government.
The Filipino Ambassador underscored his country's willingness to develop bilateral relations with Yemen and to expand areas of cooperation, confirming Manila's support for efforts to achieve peace and stability in Yemen.
