Foreign Minister Mohammed al-Hadrami met on Tuesday with the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Yemen Kang Yong.

The conversations covered aspects of bilateral cooperation between the two friendly countries and people.

Coordination about issues of common interest at international stages were also discussed.

Al-Hadrami talked about the latest developments in the Yemeni national scene including Un-led peace efforts. He reiterated the government's support for the Special Envoy of the UN Secretary General to Yemen to reach a peaceful and sustainable solution to the conflict based on the three terms of reference for peace.

The Chinese Ambassador reaffirmed his country's support for Yemen, legitimate government and underway efforts to achieve peace in Yemen.
