The Member of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) Sultan al-Arada held talks today, Thursday, with the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to the Republic of Yemen Dr. Amr Allah Eshlr over bilateral relations and joint cooperation between the two countries.

The conversations also touched on the developments in the Yemeni national arena amid the terrorist Houthi militias' intransigence and rejection to come to peace.

Al-Arada stated that the PLC is very keen to deal constructively and responsibly with the UN-led peace efforts as well as all regional and international good offices aiming to bring peace in Yemen.

He blamed the Iranian regime backed terrorist Houthi militias for prolonging the conflict and going on military escalation in several flash points around the country.
The Turkish Ambassador confirmed Ankar's steadfast support for the PLC and the Yemeni government.
He also underlined the importance of broadening joint cooperation and coordination in different fields to serve the mutual interests of the two countries.
