Vice President Lt. Gen. Ali Mohsen Saleh said Marib will remain an impenetrable shield for the Republic, referring to the government’s eastern stronghold that resists an unrelenting war by the Houthi theocratic militia.
In a phone conversation with Marib’s governor Sultan al-Eradah, he said, “Marib which has been a safe haven for all Yemenis will remain an impenetrable shield for the republic. He hailed the performance of the army, security forces and the people of Marib in the efforts to liberate Yemen and consolidate security and development.
