The Kuwaiti Fund for Arab Economic Development signed Thursday a Grant Agreement with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) worth $1.2 million to contribute to the rehabilitation and maintenance of homes for displaced persons in Yemen.

Health Minister praises China's support for Yemeni government

Minister of Public Health and Population Dr. Nasser Ba-aum highly praised the Peoples' Republic of China's supportive stances in support of the Yemeni government and people in different fields, including health sector amid the outbreak of coronavirus, covid-19.
His remarks came as he met with the Chinese Ambassador to the Republic of Yemen Kang Yong.
Ba-aum received one more Chinese shipment of medical aids include 2500 masks, 600 protective uniforms, 600 glasses and other medical stuffs provided by the Peoples' Republic of China.
The Chinese Ambassador stated that his country will continue to support the Yemeni government and people. He stated that there are still more Chinese medical assistance will arrive in the upcoming days.
