Mukalla Iron Factory is launched

MUKALLA-SABA
Governor of Hadhramout Faraj al-Bahsani launched Thursday the test operation of Mukalla Iron and Steel Factory at al-Rayyan area here.

Al-Bahsani inspected the factory, which is owned by al-Mukalla Company for Iron and Steel, which is currently considered the biggest company in manufacturing iron and steel in Yemen.

The Chairman of the Board of the Company Omer Bagresh made it clear that the production capacity of iron melting reaches 1000 tons annually with different sizes ranging from 100mlm to 200mlm.

Meanwhile, iron bars capacity production reaches 300,000 tons annually with different sizes ranging from 8 mlm. to 32 mlm. with 12 meter length.

The factory's human resources capacity reaches 450 people.
