A meeting held Monday chaired by Minister of Planning and International Cooperation and Yemen’s Governor to the World Bank Dr. Afrah al-Zouba and attended by a high-level World Bank delegation led by the Bank’s Vice President for the Middle East, North Africa, Afghanistan and Pakistan Ousmane Dione discussed ways to enhance partnership and expand support across development, humanitarian, service, and economic sectors in the country.

Yemen's political parties have congratulated President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi and the Yemeni nation on the 57th anniversary of the 26th September Revolution Day.

The event commemorates the rise of the first Yemeni republicans against the theocratic Imamite rulers, the ancestors of the present-day Houthi militants.

The General People's Congress, the Yemen Congregation for Reform, the Yemen Socialists , al-Rashad party and the Justice and Construction parties as well as the National Southern League issued statements on the occasion expressing good wishes on the occasion to President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi, the Yemeni government and nation.
