U.S. Embassy: UN inspection of ships in Yemen does not mean they are safe from U.S. sanctions
The U.S. Embassy in Yemen has stated that the inspection of any vessel by the United Nations Verification and Inspection Mechanism in Yemen (UNVIM) does not mean that it is safe from U.S. sanctions, especially those ships, entities and individuals providing material support to the Houthis.

Marib Governor receives Kuwaiti Charitable Society's delegation

Governor of Marib Sultan al-Irada received Thursday a Kuwaiti delegation from the Charitable Society for Relief Headed by Jamal al-Thawri.

Al-Irada listened to details on the nature of the visit, which comes for boosting Kuwaiti humanitarian role in Yemen and its activities led by response network in Marib, in addition to evaluating implemented humanitarian programs in the province and humanitarian needs under increasing numbers of displaced people.

The Kuwaiti Delegation pointed to projects and interventions provided by the society since Houthi coup against the state and the aid focused in five sectors included health, education, shelter, food and water.

Governor al-Irada valued Kuwaiti brotherly situations towards Yemen and its government and former aid when Kuwait provided great support to Yemeni revolution and development in Yemen and establishing Sana'a University.
