Prime Minister Maeen Abdulmalik stressed the pivotal role of Aden seaport and Free Trade Zone in promoting the economic and investment sector in the temporary capital Aden and otherprovinces of the country.
He stressed the government's keenness to make optimum use of Aden's full potential especially its Free Trade Zone and seaport to create a momentum for achieving strong economic performance.
He made the remarks as he convened a meeting of the Aden Gulf Ports and Free Zone Corporation.
He pointed out that the government has different programs and plans to improve the performance of the vital institutions in Aden and other liberated governorates, and to overcome the effects of the war triggered by the Iran-backed Houthi militia.
The Prime Minister pointed to the importance of the support the Saudi-led Coalition has been lending to the Yemeni government to achieve economic stability and develop the ports of Aden.
