Minister of Industry and Trade, Mohammed al-Ashwal, reiterated the vital importance of empowering women economically and broadening their participation across productive and commercial sectors, emphasizing that women represent a cornerstone in the drive toward achieving social stability and sustainable economic growth.
During a meeting held in the interim capital, Aden, with the Women's Summit Coordination Committee, Minister Al-Ashwal highlighted the urgent need to foster a more enabling and supportive environment for women entrepreneurs.
He called for concrete efforts to facilitate women's greater access to the labor market, pointing out that such progress directly contributes to improved livelihoods, increased household incomes, and stronger foundations for local and national development.
