Yemen's army with backing from the Arab Coalition's artillery managed to repel a Houthi attack in al-Safraa district in Saadah, the stronghold of the rebel militia.

"The army troops managed foiled aHouthi attack in al-Ruzamat front in al-Safraa in Saadah and several Houthi militants were killed and others were injured," a field commander Ahmed al-Marqahi told Saba.

He said the militia wanted to reverse back later gains secured by the army over the past few days within its offensive to liberate Saadah from the theocratic militia.
