Al-Awj, Kattan discuss WB engagement policy in Yemen

Yemen's Minister of Planning and International Cooperation and the World Bank's Country Manager for Yemen Raja Kattan discussed here today the bank's engagement policy in Yemen.
Presenting the Yemeni government's remarks, Al-Awj pointed out that the bank's policy is near to the Yemeni government's priorities in the field of emergency response, health, education, urban services and solar energy.
He emphasized the importance of coordinating with the government when it comes to picking project areas and project control.
He also highlighted the need for a visit of WB officials to Yemen and re-opening the bank's office in Aden, now a temporary capital for the country.
