Yemen's Ambassador to Cuba Mohammad Nasher discussed on Tuesday with Cuban first Deputy Minister of Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment Antonio Luis Carricarte Corona common concern issues and mutual relations.
Ambassador Nasher reviewed to Cuban official situations development in Yemen and developments regarding implementing Stockholm agreement on Hodeida, prisoners and kidnapped treaty and understandings of lifting siege on Taiz.
He confirmed government's positive dealing with UN Redeploying Committee, which is faced by obstacles by Houthi militia for not implementing the agreement and reaching real peace.
Ambassador Nasher renewed government's position on realizing peace on the bases of political references; the GCC Initiative, the outcomes of the National Dialogue Conference and UN Resolution 2216 and expressing government's appreciation to efforts of the Republic of Cuba for supporting constitutional legality.
He also confirmed necessity of exerting efforts by International Community on Houthi rebel militia to implement the UN-sponsored agreement.
For his part, the Cuban official renewed his country's permanent support to Yemen and its government, confirming keenness of his country on stopping war and realizing peace.
