Minister of Industry and Trade Dr Mohammed al-Maytami said" the ongoing warfare has been launched by the putschist Houthi militia wiped out all economic and developmental achievements made over decades".
Speaking at Arab Forum for Sustainable Development gathering organized by ESCAWA in Beirut on Tuesday, al-Maytami cited the huge damages and staggering losses of Yemen's national economy, development drive and infrastructure due to the Houthi militia's coup.
The Minister called on the UN and participating nations to help Yemen managing development challenges, speeding up reconstruction campaign and reducing poverty in order to achieve Millennium Development Goals which Yemen committed itself to realize.
